A Peek Inside the Group
Travel Tip
Jet lag is real but it doesn’t have to ruin the first few days of your trip. Start shifting your sleep schedule 2–3 days before departure, stay hydrated, skip the alcohol on the flight, and when you arrive — no napping! Get outside in natural daylight and stay up until local bedtime even if you’re exhausted. Flying East is generally harder than flying West — give yourself grace on those European trips!
Community Post
Answer these three questions and let’s see what kind of traveler you are: 1. You have 10 days — do you go deep in ONE destination or hit multiple cities? 2. Do you pre-book every restaurant or just wing it? 3. Boutique hotel with character OR luxury resort with every amenity? Drop your answers below — no wrong answers here!
Travel Story
October 2021. Paul and I had just gotten married and headed to Grenada for our honeymoon at Sandals. That trip changed how I think about all-inclusive travel, about slowing down, and about what it means to truly let yourself be taken care of after a season of pouring everything into everyone else.
Ireland Content
While staying in several hotels during my Ireland trip, I was reminded that European hotels operate a little differently. No top sheet, no washcloths, your room key controls the electricity, limited outlets, smaller rooms — none of these things take away from the experience. In fact they’re part of what makes staying in historic European cities feel unique!
Your Host
I am a travel expert and the founder of Winds and Waves Travel, and I have spent years helping people like you plan the trips they have always dreamed of taking. Ireland is my specialty — I recently returned from a professional FAM trip where I had behind-the-scenes access to some of the most beautiful hotels, castles, and hidden corners of the Emerald Isle.
I started Angie’s Travel Tribe because I believe travel is better when you have someone in your corner — someone who has been there, knows the tips, and genuinely wants your trip to be magical. Inside the group I show up every single day with stories, tips, and Ireland inspiration to keep your travel dreams alive.
